Global Positioning System Dozer Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Global Positioning System (GPS) Dozer Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty bulldozers equipped with GPS technology to execute precise earthmoving tasks across large-scale construction projects. Your expertise will ensure efficient site development, accurate grading, and smooth project progression. Duties Operate GPS-enabled dozers to perform grading, leveling, and earthmoving tasks with precision and efficiency on construction sites Use advanced GPS systems to follow project plans and ensure accurate alignment and elevation control Collaborate with surveyors and project managers to interpret site plans and implement them accurately using heavy equipment Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of dozers and related machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met Assist with the setup and calibration of GPS equipment for each project phase, ensuring precise data collection Support other heavy equipment operations such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, water trucks, graders, dump trucks, tankers, horizontal drilling rigs, and paving machinery as needed Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment usage, and safety checks in compliance with company policies Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy construction equipment including dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, horizontal drilling rigs, and paving machines Proven experience operating GPS-guided bulldozers in construction or similar environments Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and best practices for heavy equipment operation Ability to interpret technical drawings, site plans, and survey data accurately Commercial driving skills with valid licenses for operating heavy machinery and transport vehicles such as dump trucks and tankers Familiarity with Caterpillar (CAT) equipment or similar brands is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors Physical stamina to operate machinery for extended periods while maintaining focus on safety and precision Join us as a GPS Dozer Operator and be part of a dedicated team committed to building infrastructure that shapes communities.
