Job Description

Assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources function and duties. Assists internal customers with inquiries regarding pay, services, policies and programs. Carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: record keeping, filing, employee relations.
Position Responsibilities may include:
Assists with employee relations Administers employee changes Maintains employee and HR (soft and hard) files Responds to inquiries regarding policies, pay, timekeeping, procedures and programs, etc. Maintains Kronos and approvals Supports other HR staff May provide support to other HR administrative areas in the Company Performs other duties as assigned
Nature and Scope:
Works under direct supervision and follows written/verbal instructions to accomplish assigned tasks Resolves routine questions and problems, refers complex issues to others Keeps confidential information confidential
Knowledge and Skills:
Applies basic administrative skills Microsoft Office - Outlook (email), Word and Excel Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Excellent customer service skills Strong attention to detail
Experience:
Up to two years' experience as a data clerk / administrative assistant 2 plus years in customer service
Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
