Golf Course Front Desk / Starter (Part-Time)

We are hiring a Golf Course Starter / Front Desk Associate to join our team at Hawaii Country Club in Wahiawa. This role is best suited for someone who is highly reliable, punctual, and comfortable working early morning shifts in a customer-facing environment. As a key part of daily golf operations, you'll manage tee times, check in players, and help maintain pace of play to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in being on time, staying organized, satisfying customers, and handling responsibility without constant supervision.

Pay:

$16/hour (with opportunities for increased pay and responsibility over time)

Schedule:

Part-time (primarily Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)

Shift:

6:30 AM - 3:30 PM Additional shifts may be available based on performance and availability

Free Golf Key Responsibilities:

Open daily golf operations and prepare the course for play Greet guests and check in golfers using the tee sheet system (ForeUp) Manage tee time flow and maintain pace of play throughout the day Communicate course rules, expectations, and timing clearly Handle customer questions and resolve issues professionally Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth daily operations Monitor course activity and report any issues promptly

Requirements:

Strong reliability and punctuality (must consistently arrive on time for 6:30 AM shifts) Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the shift Comfortable working early mornings on a consistent weekly schedule Strong communication and customer service skills Basic knowledge of golf etiquette and pace of play (or willingness to learn quickly) Comfortable learning and using systems such as ForeUp Ability to stay organized and manage multiple responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience at a golf course, front desk, or hospitality role Experience with tee sheet or POS systems (ForeUp or similar) Interest in golf or familiarity with the game
