Golf Course Greenskeeper

Overview Searching for a professionally minded person with a solid and unwavering work ethic to be responsible for maintaining the upkeep and condition of a 9-hole golf course. Greenskeeper will ensure greens, fairways, bunkers and surrounding landscapes are in optimal shape for play. Greenskeeper will perform tasks such as mowing, fertilizing, irrigating, and monitoring turf health, as well as maintaining equipment and adhering to aesthetic requirements set by course management. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning using hand tools and power tools to keep outdoor spaces pristine Assist with irrigation system installation, inspection, and repairs to ensure optimal watering efficiency Support lawn care activities such as fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to promote healthy turf growth Utilize landscaping equipment and hand tools safely and effectively to complete daily maintenance routines Perform routine inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair Maintain detailed records of work performed and report any issues requiring further maintenance or specialized attention Experience Prior experience in landscaping, horticulture, or lawn care is mandatory Familiarity with irrigation systems, landscape maintenance practices, and gardening techniques is a must. Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers safely and efficiently Knowledge of horticultural principles and plant care best practices enhances your effectiveness in this role Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for active tasks Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward maintaining high standards of landscape quality

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
