Golf Course Maintenance Worker

Job description Operates powered equipment of various sizes to mow golf course putting greens, aprons, tees, and roughs Operates light equipment such as edger, trimmer, and towed behind gas powered blower Mowing of greens, collars, approaches, tees, fairways, and intermediate roughs Lays sod, plants, vegetative material, and pulls weeds in flower beds Remove debris such as leaves, trash, and cut grass Changes cups and tee markers Maintains bunkers by raking, weeding, and topdressing Trims trees, prunes shrubbery, and cultivates shrubs and flowers Assist in turf renovations Maintain and clean the facility building to insure a safe work environment Carry out general labor duties as required Able to understand and follow detailed written and oral instruction Perform other duties as assigned Lifting will be required. (Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs) Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including rain, cold, or sun Repetitive movement required including walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, stooping, and sitting Willing to work in a team atmosphere
