Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for working with their hands. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all golf course equipment, including mowers, tractors, and utility vehicles. Your duties may include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues, ordering parts, and keeping detailed records of maintenance schedules and repairs. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is in safe and proper working condition to support the overall operation and appearance of the golf course. Additionally, you may be required to assist with equipment setup for tournaments and events. Strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for golf course maintenance are essential for success in this role.
Duties:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on vehicles and equipment
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot electrical and computer systems
  • Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in automotive technology
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues
