Golf Shop Attendant / Beverage Cart Operator

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Golf Shop Attendant and Beverage Cart Operator, where your enthusiasm and customer service skills will elevate the golfing experience for our members and guests. In this lively role, you'll be the friendly face of the golf shop, assisting with retail sales, tee time management, and providing exceptional service. As a Beverage Cart Operator, you'll deliver refreshing drinks and snacks directly to players on the course, ensuring their game is enjoyable and memorable. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine retail expertise with outdoor activity in a vibrant sporting environment. In this hybrid position you'll be cross trained to work separete shifts in the golf shop as well as operating the beverage cart. Must be 21+ to apply. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance with golf shop merchandise, including apparel, equipment, and accessories Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for retail transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and receipt processing Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and inventory to maintain an organized and inviting shopping environment Manage the beverage cart by preparing and serving drinks and snacks while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards Uphold phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering guest inquiries with professionalism and clarity Experience Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a similar environment, demonstrating strong familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic math for transactions and inventory counts. Excellent communication skills combined with friendly phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries confidently Experience in high level customer services to enhance guest satisfaction Knowledge of retail math principles for accurate cash handling and sales reporting This energetic role invites motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and enjoy engaging with people.
