St. Benedict Catholic School St. Benedict Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 6th and 7th-grade English Language Arts Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Position Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging English Language Arts instruction for students in grades 6 and 7 Teach reading comprehension, literature analysis, grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills aligned to state standards Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and meaningful discussion through literature and writing activities Create a positive, structured, and faith-centered classroom environment that supports student success Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and assessments to monitor student growth and achievement Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and families to support student learning and development Support and uphold the mission and values of Catholic education Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and ongoing professional development Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Language Arts, or a related field Valid Ohio teaching license or eligibility to obtain licensure Strong classroom management and communication skills Application Process Interested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and references to: Lisa Oriti - loriti@stbenedictohio.com Range $39,000.00 — $60,000.00
