CTI is seeking a Grant Accountant to oversee the financial management and compliance of federally and state-funded grants. This position plays a critical role in ensuring public funds are managed responsibly, transparently, and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The Grant Accountant will work closely with program staff, auditors, and funding agencies to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to grant requirements. Key Responsibilities Administer and monitor financial activities for federal, state, and local grants Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200), state policies, and agency procedures Prepare, review, and submit required financial reports to funding agencies Track grant budgets, expenditures, and reimbursements to ensure proper use of funds Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate grant-related financial records Coordinate with program managers to align financial reporting with program performance Assist in the development of grant budgets and financial forecasts Support internal and external audits, including Single Audits, by providing documentation and analysis Review expenditures for allowability, allocability, and reasonableness Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions Maintain documentation in accordance with public records and retention requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field 10+ years of accounting experience, preferably in government or public sector grant management Knowledge of governmental accounting standards (GASB) and grant compliance requirements Familiarity with federal grant regulations, including Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200) Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and fund accounting Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to interpret and apply complex regulations Preferred Qualifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) Experience with federal pass-through grants and reimbursement-based funding Familiarity with enterprise financial systems used in government (e.g., PeopleSoft, Oracle) Experience supporting
