Graphic Designer

Berlin Journal Newspapers is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our print production team. This position focuses on newspaper layout, advertising design, and commercial print projects for local businesses and organizations. Responsibilities Design newspaper pages, advertisements, inserts, and promotional materials Create print-ready files for commercial printing projects Work with the sales department to develop effective ad and marketing designs Prepare artwork to meet press and production specifications Maintain consistent branding and visual quality Collaborate with editorial, sales, and production staff to meet deadlines Handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Experience with graphic design for print media preferred Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Strong typography and layout skills Knowledge of print production processes and file preparation Ability to work under deadlines and manage time effectively Attention to detail and strong communication skills Preferred Experience Newspaper pagination/layout Commercial printing or prepress production Ad design and customer service What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Stable full-time position Creative work environment Opportunity to work on a variety of print and advertising projects To apply, send your resume, portfolio, and any relevant work samples to kristian@theberlinjournal.com
