Grave Shift Warehouse Supervisor

The warehouse supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse facility, ensuring efficient and smooth functioning of all warehouse activities.

Essential responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, storing, pikcing, organizing, and distributing goods. Ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain proper inventory levels by overseeing inventory management processes, including regular stock checks, cycle counts, and reconciling any discrepancies. Supervise the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that incoming shipments are checked for accuracy, quality, and quantity. Ensure safe working environments. Enforce safety policies and procedures, conduct regular safety inspections, and promote a culture of safety among warehouse staff. Seek opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction by identifying inefficiencies or bottlenecks in warehouse operations and implement changes or best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency. Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferable; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and converse and listen. The employee must exert up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
