  • Job Description As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling electrical control panels and components for shredding machines and their sub-assemblies.
Your work will involve following drawings, written procedures, and manufacturer's recommendations to ensure the highest quality and workmanship. You will also assemble systems for testing, and disassemble them after testing, working with both hydraulic and electric powered systems. Responsibilities Assemble electrical components into control panels for shredders, compactors, and other products. Perform steel enclosure cutting and modifications. Execute complex wiring and assembly operations on standardized electric units, sub-assemblies, and chassis. Work from established wiring charts, schematics, or samples, adhering to standards and procedures. Set up systems for testing, then break down and prepare them for paint and/or shipment. Communicate quality issues with co-workers and supervisors. Anticipate and help plan for materials and resources needed for current and upcoming jobs. Ensure work areas are neat, clean, and organized. Essential Skills Proficient in electrical assembly and wiring. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, symbols, and other technical drawings. Excellent electrical skills. Able to use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and gauges. Operate assembly equipment like grinders, cordless drills, pneumatic tools, and basic hand tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Blueprint reading and interpretation. Experience with panel wiring and assembly. Familiarity with diagrams and wiring schematics. Interpersonal skills to work well in a cross-functional team. Why Work Here?   • Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, OR.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
