Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an RN Pediatric PACU to fill an opening at an Acute Care/Academic Medical Center located in Syracuse, New York. The ideal candidate will provide specialized post-operative care to pediatric patients, ensuring safe recovery and optimal outcomes in a dynamic academic medical center environment. Why Join Us?

Work Schedule:
Full-time, Day/Evening Shift. 8 shifts of 10 hours every 2 weeks (Day shift: 07:00-19:30, Night shift: 11:00-23:30). Includes some weekends.

Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Licensure:
Current New York State RN license.
Certification:
BLS certification (current or able to recertify); Must not have had a professional license or certification suspended or investigated Must not have been named as a defendant in a professional liability claim.
Experience:
Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level as Hospital. Travelers will only be considered if they are experienced in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers.
Technical Skills:
EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience preferred
Soft Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Must not have been named as a defendant in a professional liability claim
Key Responsibilities:
Provide post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients, monitor vital signs and recovery progress, administer medications, collaborate with surgical teams, educate patients and families, and maintain accurate documentation. How to
