Responsibilities Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each pet's breed and individual needs Handle animals safely and confidently, utilizing proper restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with pet owners about grooming options, aftercare instructions, and any special needs Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming areas, tools, and equipment to uphold health standards Monitor pets' health during grooming visits, recognizing signs of veterinary concerns or discomfort that may require veterinary technician or veterinarian attention . administration, or kennel duties as needed to ensure overall animal well-being Experience Prior experience in pet grooming is highly preferred; certification from a recognized grooming program is a plus Experience working with animals requiring special care or restraint techniques, including heavy lifting for larger breeds .
