Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-6 students for the 2026/2027 school year as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This position offers a meaningful, flexible schedule working just one day per week, providing vital services to a manageable caseload of 15 students. You'll contribute your expertise within an environment that values your skills and dedication. In this role, you will primarily serve one campus, and also support students at Valley View Elementary, a short distance away. The assignment covers the school year from August 31st to June 3rd, aligning your schedule with a traditional Monday-Thursday school week.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active SLP license in Montana (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience providing speech/language services in a school environment Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across two sites
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for approximately 15 K-6 students Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain documentation for each student Collaborate with teachers, families, and support team members to ensure the best outcomes Travel to Valley View Elementary for half-day service as needed (travel details coordinated in advance) Balance responsibilities between two locations, ensuring consistent, quality care Enjoy a schedule that provides work-life balance while making a meaningful impact.
