Ground Crew/Maintenance Crew

Overview Turner Staffing Group is hiring Ground Crew / Maintenance Technicians to support a mining operation in Hinkley, California. This role is essential to keeping the site running efficiently by supporting equipment maintenance, performing general labor tasks, and assisting operators and supervisors with day-to-day operations. This is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals who are hands-on, dependable, and looking to grow within the mining or heavy equipment industry. Key Responsibilities Assist with routine maintenance and basic repairs on heavy equipment and plant machinery Perform general labor duties including cleanup, shoveling, and site housekeeping Support equipment operators and maintenance personnel as needed Conduct inspections and report wear, damage, or safety concerns Assist with fueling, greasing, and servicing equipment Maintain clean and organized work areas Follow all site safety policies and MSHA regulations Work in and around active mining equipment safely and efficiently Qualifications Mechanical aptitude or prior maintenance experience preferred Experience in mining, quarry, construction, or industrial environments is a plus Valid driver's license required MSHA certification (preferred; may be required prior to start) Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Reliable transportation and consistent attendance What We're Looking For Hands-on individuals who are not afraid to get dirty and work hard Team players who can take direction and support multiple areas of the operation Candidates who are mechanically inclined and eager to develop new skills Dependable workers who show up ready to contribute every day
