GSRP Assistant Teacher (Preschool CDA Required)

Job Summary Education Station is seeking warm, flexible, and dependable GSRP Assistant to support our Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) preschool classrooms. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about early childhood education and looking for meaningful, flexible work in a nurturing, child-centered environment. As a GSRP Assistant teacher, you'll provide essential support in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the lead teacher in implementing daily routines and classroom activities Assist with play-based learning experiences and small/large group instruction Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children Help manage classroom transitions, meals, rest time, and cleanup Use developmentally appropriate practices and positive guidance when interacting with children Step into the assistant teacher role when needed to maintain structure and continuity Assist with observations and documentation of child development Maintain open communication and teamwork with classroom staff Follow all GSRP guidelines and Michigan child care licensing regulations Willing to go to ongoing training and professional development

Qualifications:

Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred Comfortable in a structured early learning environment Friendly, flexible, dependable, and team-oriented Strong communication and interpersonal skills Additional Requirements (We Can Assist): Current CPR and First Aid Certification Fingerprinting through LARA (Licensing and Regulatory Affairs) Why Join Education Station?
