Job Description

Overview The Three-Year-Old Lead Teacher is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining a nurturing, safe, and developmentally appropriate classroom for children aged 2 years 9 months to preschool. This role requires a caring and responsive individual who can build strong relationships with children, families, and co-workers while upholding Education Station's values and licensing standards. Responsibilities Create and implement lesson plans and daily routines that support the emotional, physical, social, and cognitive development of three-year-olds. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that promotes exploration and learning. Observe and document children's progress and communicate regularly with families about milestones and needs. Provide responsive care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting children with warmth and attentiveness. Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and Education Station policies. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff within the classroom. Attend team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. Skills Strong background in Early Childhood Education or related field. Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is highly desirable. Proficient in classroom management techniques to maintain an effective learning environment. Ability to educate children through engaging activities tailored to their developmental stages. Experience working with students who have disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young learners are essential qualities for success in this role.
