POSITION SUMMARY

RCAPS is seeking Paraeducators to support our 2026 Summer School Adventure Program. Paraeducators will work closely with lead instructors to deliver small-group literacy and math support during the morning sessions and assist with student recreation and enrichment activities in the afternoon. This role is essential to our district goal of closing achievement gaps for our K-4 learners

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications:

Per state and federal instructional support requirements, applicants must hold a high school diploma and meet "Highly Qualified" status (either 60+ college credits, an Associate's degree, or a passing score on the ETS ParaPro or WorkKeys assessment).

Skills:

We are looking for team members who enjoy working with elementary students and are comfortable assisting with basic reading and math activities.

Expectations:

Staff should be prepared to support students with various learning needs and follow our established building behavior protocols to keep the environment safe and positive.

DURATION & SCHEDULE

Program Dates:

Three (3) weeks; Monday-Thursday. Week 1: July 6, 7, 8, 9 Week 2: July 13, 14, 15, 16 Week 3: July 20, 21, 22, 23

Daily Hours:

8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

COMPENSATION

Pursuant to RCESPA Agreement.
