LSU Eunice seeks a safety conscious and enthusiastic individual to join our security team as an on-campus Security Guard.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 20

• Issue citations for traffic and parking violations; direct traffic within an assigned area 20%
• Ensure campus security/ locking of all buildings and University property during and after business hours 20%
• Provide a visual presence on campus grounds by conducting regular patrols on foot or security vehicle 10%
• Complete security statements and shift reports before the end of each shift 5%
• Make off campus trips for University business as assigned 5%
• Maintain filing system of vehicle registrations, security incident reports, shift reports, etc. 5%
• Render first aid and other assistance as needed 5%
• Other duties as assigned

Salary:

$12.00/hourly

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

No experience or training is required.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must have attained eighteenth birthday at time of appointment. Required to possess a valid Louisiana driver's license at time of appointment. An applicant who has been convicted of a felony or who is under indictment on a felony charge will be disqualified until relief from the disabilities imposed by state and federal laws is granted.
