Job Description

Job Overview Port Farms Special Events LLC. is seeking a highly organized, hands-on Guest Experience & Operations Manager to help support the daily flow of guest-facing operations, retail coordination, seasonal setup, and overall site readiness across our properties. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, values creating positive guest experiences, and takes pride in helping maintain spaces that feel welcoming, organized, and ready for each season. Working closely with ownership and leadership, this position plays an important role in coordinating with guest services, maintenance, vendors, and seasonal teams to help ensure our property runs smoothly and guests enjoy a safe, enjoyable experience year-round.
What You'll Do:
Guest Experience & Guest Services Oversee guest service locations and support day-to-day guest-facing operations Assist with staff training and break coverage Answer guest questions in person and by phone Monitor and respond to voicemail messages Manage campfire site reservations and communicate schedules to team members Handle lost and found items, especially during peak seasons Respond to guest-related incidents and emergencies as needed Maintain and improve incident reporting systems Retail, Inventory & Vendor Coordination Order merchandise for gift shop locations and brewery retail spaces Manage inventory in all non-food-related buildings Review and coordinate payment of retail invoices Maintain organized inventory systems and storage documentation Coordinate with vendors regarding supplies and agreements Work with the Head Brewer on beer wholesale coordination Seasonal Operations & Site Readiness Assist with setup and teardown of seasonal spaces throughout the year Lead seasonal preparation of the Harvest Barn, Events Barn, Flower Hut, and Sweet Shop Maintain cleanliness and organization across non-food operational spaces Coordinate fire extinguisher inspections with maintenance leadership Support seasonal planting and general property readiness
What We're Looking For:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and seasonal deadlines Comfortable interacting with guests, staff, and vendors Calm and effective under pressure Ability to perform physical work in indoor and outdoor settings Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Schedule Expectations Part-time position From August through November, candidates must be available to work Wednesdays through Sundays for Summer Days and Fall Harvest Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Seasonal flexibility is required
