Guest Service Agent

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for greeting and checking guests in and out of the hotel in the continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards We are looking for all shifts, including night audit! Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Register guests and assign rooms, ensuring all necessary information is obtained
• Answer phone calls and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
• Handle guest complaints or concerns, resolving issues promptly and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Process guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, payments, and transactions
• Provide recommendations for dining, entertainment, and other activities to enhance the guest experience
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service
• Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities and to maximize room occupancy
• Cash handling Qualifications
• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with guests
• Knowledge of hotel management systems and procedures is a plus
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
