Job Description

Gym Member Services We are looking for Member Services Team Members to manage our front desk on a daily basis and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a Member Services Team Member, you will be the first point of contact for our company and provide administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet members who visit the gym, coordinate front desk activities, distribute correspondence, and redirect phone calls as needed. To be successful in this role, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is a customer service-focused position. You should be able to handle emergencies in a timely and effective manner while helping streamline daily operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. This role may require working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus. Ultimately, the responsibilities of a Member Services Team Member are to ensure the front desk provides a welcoming experience and that all administrative tasks are completed to the highest quality standards. Employees receive two complimentary memberships, one for themselves and one for a friend or family member Responsibilities Greet and welcome members as soon as they arrive at the gym Give tours of the gym for potential new members Sign new members up Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary supplies (pens, forms, brochures, etc.) Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone or email Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries Maintain member safety by ensuring all members check in at the front desk Keep inventory stocked Wash and fold towels for the next shift Pick up equipment around the gym to maintain a clean and safe atmosphere Skills Proven work experience in a front desk, member services, or customer service role Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Hands on experience with office equipment and gym equipment Professional attitude and appearance Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise Excellent organizational skills Strong multitasking and time management abilities with the ability to prioritize tasks Customer service focused attitude The ideal candidate may have previously worked as
