This is a part-time employee position perfect for someone who enjoys independent work. This role will be an essential part of managing the growth that Shields Handyman is experiencing. Key Responsibilities Perform a variety of handyman tasks including (but not limited to): minor plumbing repairs and fixture replacement, electrical troubleshooting and fixture replacement (non-licensed work), drywall patching, painting, furniture assembly, door/window repairs, flooring repairs, light carpentry, and general home maintenance. Diagnose issues quickly and complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard. Keep work areas clean and leave properties in better condition than found. Communicate clearly with property owners or managers about work performed and any follow-up needs. Dialog with clients about their projects and advise them on solutions Requirements Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or in a similar role (at least 2+ years preferred). Must own and use your own basic tools and have reliable transportation Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and excellent customer service skills. Honest, dependable, and respectful of clients' homes and property. Ability to work well with other employees and provide guidance and oversight when necessary Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check.
