Full Job Description Job Summary:

Join our Teammates Center dedicated team as a Job Coach and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. In this energetic role, you will empower clients to achieve their personal employment goals by providing tailored support, mentorship, and training. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster independence, build confidence, and promote successful employment. You will be working for the CREW program, an employment and job readiness program within Teammates Center. We work with select clients that have an interest in employment from all of the teammates centers. We are looking for someone who is interested in joining the CREW team as a job coach, and wants to work directly with clients at their jobs. We will provide training, in office job coach training, and do personalized training for each of the client/jobs you would be taking on. The hours can vary from morning shifts to evening shifts. We have a select few clients with jobs currently that you would be trained on and we are in the process of employing several more of our clients. Duties Safely operate a vehicle to transport individuals to their jobs. Provide hands-on assistance and job coaching at worksites to help individuals learn and perform job tasks. Model appropriate workplace behavior, communication, and professionalism. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, families, and employers. Ensure client safety at all times during transportation and job coaching activities. Assist individuals with time management, task completion, and staying on schedule. Offer mentoring and coaching to promote social skills, communication, and self-advocacy Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and service plans in compliance with organizational policies. Qualifications CPR/First Aid certification (will train) Background check Valid driver's license DOT physical Valid driver's license and auto insurance Experience Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities not required, but is helpful. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to safely operate vans or larger passenger vehicles Comfortable working with individuals with disabilities and varying support needs Strong time management and dependability Ability to pass background check, DOT physical, insurance check, and any required screenings

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
