Head Baker/Pastry Chef

About us Coldwater Cafe is a fine dine restaurant in the center of historic downtown Tipp City. We make everything in house from bread to salad dressings to desserts. Coldwater Cafe is seeking a hard working and talented individual to make desserts for our restaurant and sister store, Bodega. We are looking for someone who can produce all of our menu desserts; an assortment of cakes, pies, bread pudding, crème brulee, etc. The right candidate will have the ability to create desserts of their own upon the approval of the Executive Chef.

Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day pastry operations Check freshness and quality of ingredients Assist in the development of dessert menu items Standardize recipes and plate presentations Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests

Qualifications:

Previous experience in pastry, culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields Knowledge of cost Passion for food and cooking techniques Strong leadership qualities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift 50lbs

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
