Head Start Lead Teacher

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Start Teacher to lead our Preschool program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education required.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the classroom, including curriculum, and student discipline
• Develop and implement educational policies and procedures to ensure academic excellence
• Collaborate with teachers to create a dynamic curriculum that meets the needs of all preschoolers
• Manage resources effectively
• Communicate with parents, teachers, and students to address concerns and maintain a supportive school community

Skills:

• Experience in special education and literacy education
• Ability to educate, mentor, and inspire students and staff
• Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development
• Knowledge of daycare or tutoring programs
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong classroom management abilities
