Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead our organization's safety initiatives and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of occupational health, safety standards, and environmental regulations, with a focus on creating a safe work environment for all employees. This role is vital in promoting a culture of safety, preventing workplace injuries, and managing safety programs across manufacturing or industrial settings. Duties Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies aligned with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Workers' Compensation Law. Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis to determine underlying issues and recommend corrective actions. Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure proper documentation and reporting in accordance with law. Provide training & development programs on occupational health, EHS (Environmental Health & Safety), CPR, First Aid, and other safety procedures. Prepare detailed reports on safety performance metrics, incident trends, and compliance status for management review. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of safety awareness throughout the organization. Stay current with evolving OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and industry best practices related to occupational health and environmental safety. Skills Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, Workers' Compensation Law, and Occupational Health practices. Certifications in First Aid, CPR, EHS management preferred. Proven experience in manufacturing or industrial environments with a focus on safety management. Excellent report writing skills to document incidents, audits, training sessions, and compliance activities. Ability to perform root cause analysis effectively to identify underlying issues affecting workplace safety. Strong training & development skills to educate employees at all levels on safety protocols. Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with teams across the organization. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $73,002.91 per yearBenefits:
