Our practice has a strong focus on pain relief, orthopedic acupuncture, nervous system regulation, and mental and emotional wellness. We're looking for a practitioner who is clinically confident, warm, grounded, and excited to build a consistent patient schedule within an established practice.
THE POSITION
This is a part-time W-2 employee position with the opportunity to build your schedule and patient base over time.
Compensation:
$18/hour + $32 per completed treatment + gratuity Evening and weekend availability is required. You'll be supported by an established clinic with front desk support, online scheduling, marketing and patient acquisition, fully equipped treatment rooms, supplies, and an existing community.
ORTHOPEDIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
You must be proficient in orthopedic acupuncture and comfortable assessing and treating musculoskeletal pain and injuries. Our patients regularly come to us for acute and chronic pain, sports and repetitive use injuries, neck and back pain, shoulder conditions, headaches, and other musculoskeletal concerns. You should be confident developing an appropriate treatment strategy. Experience with electroacupuncture, motor point/orthopedic acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, or other orthopedic modalities is highly valued.
OUR TREATMENT STYLE
Every acupuncture session at Nalu Healing Arts also incorporates sound healing. Previous sound healing experience is not required. You will be trained in the sound healing techniques we use and how to thoughtfully integrate them into an acupuncture treatment. Our approach allows us to address both the physical condition bringing someone into the clinic and the nervous system that is experiencing it. Beyond orthopedic conditions, our practitioners also treat stress and anxiety, sleep concerns, headaches and migraines, women's health, digestive concerns, and general wellness.

Applicants must: Hold an active California acupuncture license Be proficient in orthopedic acupuncture Be confident treating musculoskeletal pain and injuries Have strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be comfortable educating patients and recommending appropriate treatment plans Understand the importance of patient retention and continuity of care Be dependable, professional, and collaborative Be open to learning and incorporating sound healing into treatments Be available evenings and weekends Be interested in steadily building a thriving patient schedule
