Balance Healthcare Acupuncture is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Clinic Assistant to join our clinic in Santa Monica, California . This position is ideal for a newly licensed acupuncturist who wants to gain hands-on experience in a professional clinical setting while learning the daily operations of an established acupuncture practice. This is primarily a front desk, patient communication, scheduling, insurance verification, and insurance administrative support position. There may also be occasional opportunities to assist with or provide treatments under the guidance of an experienced senior acupuncturist. New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Greet patients with a warm smile and provide a friendly, professional front desk experience Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow Verify insurance benefits and assist with insurance paperwork Communicate with patients regarding appointments, forms, and basic clinic procedures Maintain accurate patient records and administrative documentation Support daily clinic operations and treatment room preparation Occasionally assist with or provide acupuncture treatments under senior practitioner guidance Help create a calm, organized, and patient-centered clinic environment Qualifications California acupuncture license required New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable speaking with patients in person and by phone Detail-oriented, reliable, and willing to learn Interest in learning insurance processing and clinic administration Prior front desk, medical office, or insurance experience is a plus but not required Candidates living near Santa Monica or with a reasonable commute are preferred Work Location This is an on-site position at our clinic in Santa Monica, CA .
