Licensed Acupuncturist

Job Description Awakening Balance Acupuncture, 11160 Huron St. #35 Northglenn, CO 80234 We are a full spectrum, thriving acupuncture clinic in Northglenn, CO (15 miles North of Denver), that is seeking a confident and stable Acupuncture Associate to join our team. We offer acupuncture, custom herbal formulas, injection therapy, pain relief, OBGYN, cosmetic acupuncture, moxibustion, electro-acupuncture, acupressure/Tui Na Massage, and cupping.

Professional Requirements:

Licensed in the state of Colorado to practice acupuncture. Must have current malpractice insurance. We are seeking someone who already has a patient following, is experienced, and excels in time management. Work consistent hours, with the desire to grow into full-time. Create and implement comprehensive treatment plans including acupuncture, cupping, Tui Na, prescribing herbal formulas and supplements, and the ability to communicate follow-up care via clear charting and personally with patients. Communication is important. Possess strong herbal skills to create raw and/or granule herbal formulas with Traditional Chinese Herbal Credentials (MSOM).

Requirements:

Enjoys collaboration w/other acupuncturists and office staff but can work independently. Must have a professional demeanor, be reliable, punctual, and have a passion for helping people. Some self-marketing hours required, paid at half the patient hourly rate with the ability to deliver short educational videos and brief educational tips at meetings and intentional self-marketing for the website. Adherence to all office policies and procedures; including consistent and clear SOAP note charting, dress code, hygiene, and time management. Must know clean needle technique. Clean patient rooms at the end of the day by turn off the bed heater in each room, turn off all electronics, change bed sheet, pillowcase and headrest cover as necessary, put away any unopened packs of needles, dispose of any opened needles, and make sure any trash is disposed of. Double check floor for any lost needles, report and properly dispose of in sharps container. Daily completion of SOAP notes.

Clinic Benefits:

Electronic Health Records Administrative Assistant to handle all office tasks including scheduling and front desk check in and out. Chinese Herbal Pharmacy and supplements. All equipment and tools provided (massage tables, needles, moxa, gua sha tools, line of all-natural cosmetics, cosmetic acupuncture equipment, injectables, electro-stimulation tools, blood pressure cuffs, and cupping sets, etc.) Liability insurance provided, and state and federal taxes paid by clinic.

Part-Time Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons.
