Clinic Director About Us Avondale Acupuncture is a boutique holistic health clinic in Chicago's Old Irving Park neighborhood. We offer acupuncture, bodywork, and movement classes. Our space is warm welcoming and intentional. Our care is high quality, patient centered and un-rushed. Clinically, we specialize in pain, stress and hormonal health. Our approach blends a strong understanding of Western medical principles, Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern acupuncture theories. We prioritize clinical skills, genuine presence and building long-term relationships with our patients and the community. We offer cash services and are also In Network with
BCBS PPO.
Position Summary We're looking for a second licensed acupuncturist to join our team, share in our patient base, and help shape the growth of the clinic. Candidates must be able to comfortably provide individualized, high-quality treatments to our patients while contributing to a collaborative, patient-centered clinic culture. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient intakes, assessments, and health histories Deliver individualized treatment plans using acupuncture and complementary TCM modalities (e-stim, herbal, cupping, moxibustion, tui na, etc. ) Monitor patient progress over time and adjust treatment plans based on outcomes Maintain accurate and timely notes and documentation Provide lifestyle, nutrition, and self-care guidance where appropriate Collaborate with other practitioners to coordinate patient care Help foster the clinic's warm, professional, and holistic atmosphere Qualifications Active Illinois Acupuncturist license (or ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire) NCCAOM Acupuncture Board Certification in Acupuncture or OM Strong palpation, diagnostic, and clinical assessment skills Comfort treating conditions related to pain/injury, stress, fertility and digestive health Excellent bedside manner — warm, attentive, and able to build trust quickly with patients Reliable, organized, and comfortable with documentation and patient management software Genuine alignment with a holistic, integrative approach to health 2 years of professional clinical experience preferred, but not required Compensation & Benefits Schedule Full-time or Part-time W2: potential $85K+/year at a full caseload
Guaranteed Base Pay:
covers practitioner time while caseload builds
Flexible Scheduling:
3-4 shifts per week equal to ~ 26 hours a week
Uncapped Commission :
