Duties Perform acupuncture treatments utilizing sterile techniques to target acute pain management and chronic conditions. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to develop tailored treatment strategies. Apply trigger point therapy and herbal medicine techniques to enhance pain relief and promote healing. Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as physicians, physical therapists, and chiropractors to coordinate patient care plans. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR/EHR) management, documenting all treatments, patient responses, and progress notes. Educate patients on physiology, anatomy, pain management options, and self-care practices to support ongoing wellness. Ensure all procedures adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols for direct patient care. Requirements Valid state licensure as an Acupuncturist with certification in acupuncture and TCM practices. Proven experience in acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and pain medicine. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physical examination techniques. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems for efficient documentation. Excellent client communication skills to explain treatment plans clearly and empathetically. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and utilize diagnostic skills effectively.
