New England Integrated Health (NEIH) is seeking an experienced acupuncturist to join our growing clinical team. NEIH is a unique group practice that serves a diverse population. This full-time position will include clinical shifts at our main office in Mid Cambridge and our onsite clinic at MIT Health. Must have an active MA acupuncture license and NCBAHM. Provider will be primarily responsible for patient care, charting and compliant coding for insurance billing. Clinical experience and a strong interest in orthopedic acupuncture and women's health is a must. Provider must be adept at working in interdiscplinary settings and comfortable coordinating care with primary care, sports medicine and womens health as needed. Mandarin Chinese is a plus but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive, individualized acupuncture care
• Assess patients and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support insurance billing and coding
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control, and Clean Needle Technique
• Work collaboratively with acupuncturists, herbalists, and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in clinical training, mentorship, and continuing education
• Work effectively within a busy, professional, patient-centered practice

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Current, unrestricted Massachusetts acupuncture license
• Current NCBAHM board certification (formerly NCCAOM)
• Master's degree in Acupuncture or Oriental Medicine from an accredited institution
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic acupuncture and women's health
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
• Commitment to professional growth and collaborative patient care

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Mandarin Chinese proficiency
• Advanced orthopedic/musculoskeletal or women's health experience or strong interest in developing these skills
• Experience in an integrative, multidisciplinary, university, corporate, or healthcare setting
• Experience with insurance billing, coding, and clinical documentation

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
