Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of acupuncture techniques and a passion for helping patients achieve optimal health through holistic practices. This role requires excellent patient service skills, as well as the ability to perform physical examinations and manage acute pain effectively. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and conditions. Administer acupuncture treatments with precision, utilizing various techniques including trigger point therapy. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective pain management. Educate patients on acupuncture practices, benefits, and self-care strategies to enhance their healing process. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments and outcomes in accordance with medical terminology standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care. Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety in the treatment environment. Qualifications Valid state licensure as an Acupuncturist. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to acupuncture practices. Experience in acute pain management and patient care is preferred. Experience in women's health, pediatric care and the LGBTQ+ community. CPR Certification is required to ensure patient safety during treatments. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and satisfaction. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective documentation and communication.
