Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Acupuncture Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide expert acupuncture treatments and holistic care to promote healing, pain relief, and overall wellness for our diverse patient population. Your expertise in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), anatomy, physiology, and modern medical diagnostics will be essential in delivering comprehensive patient care. Duties Perform acupuncture procedures targeting various conditions, including acute pain management and chronic ailments, utilizing sterile techniques and aseptic protocols. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize trigger point therapy and herbal medicine techniques to enhance treatment efficacy and address specific patient needs. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals such as physicians, chiropractors, and medical massage therapists to coordinate patient care strategies. Educate patients on treatment options, self-care practices, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing wellness. Stay current with advancements in pain medicine, anatomy knowledge, and TCM practices to continually improve clinical skills and patient outcomes. Qualifications Valid license in the St as an Acupuncture Physician or equivalent credential in accordance with state or regional regulations. Proven experience in pain management, trigger point therapy, and acupuncture techniques within a clinical setting. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physical examination procedures. Familiarity with herbal medicine techniques and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) principles. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR/EHR) management systems for accurate documentation. Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient service and direct patient care. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams while maintaining high standards of aseptic technique and safety protocols.
