POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our growing healthcare team. This role is responsible for providing high-quality acupuncture treatments, supporting patient wellness, and collaborating with other providers to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is clinically competent, patient-focused, and has acumen for clinic growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Care Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including health history and evaluation Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings Administer acupuncture treatments and related therapies (e.g., cupping, electro-acupuncture, moxibustion) Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Educate patients on treatment goals, expectations, and wellness strategies Clinical Documentation Maintain accurate and timely patient records Document treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes Ensure compliance with all regulatory and clinic documentation standards Collaboration Work closely with chiropractors, therapists, and other healthcare providers Participate in case discussions and coordinated care planning Contribute to a team-based approach to patient care Patient Experience Deliver exceptional bedside manner and patient communication Build trust and long-term patient relationships Support patient retention through consistent care and follow-up Clinic Operations Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment Follow clinic protocols and operational procedures Assist with scheduling and patient flow as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Active acupuncture license in North Carolina Graduate of an accredited acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine program Current malpractice insurance (or ability to obtain) CPR certification (preferred)
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment Team-oriented mindset Strong attention to detail and organization
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience in an integrative healthcare setting Familiarity with treating musculoskeletal conditions and pain management Experience with patient education and care plan adherence
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Deliver high-quality, consistent patient care Maintain accurate documentation and compliance Contribute to patient satisfaction and retention Collaborate effectively with the clinical team Meet clinic productivity, scheduling expectations, and accomplishment of tasks
