East End Acupuncture PC is a flourishing practice in the heart of East Hampton, NY, with over 30 years of clinical experience. We are seeking a well-trained, part-time Acupuncturist to join our team. We are looking for a practitioner with strong clinical skills in treating pain, stress, and more in-depth cases, with added interest or specialization in Women's Health and Sports Acupuncture. We value dedicated practitioners who thrive on delivering exceptional patient service through innovative acupuncture therapies. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Acupuncturist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide expert acupuncture treatments aimed at alleviating pain, improving overall wellness, and supporting patient recovery. Your expertise will help patients manage acute and chronic conditions through personalized care plans rooted in traditional Chinese medicine and modern physiological understanding. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to determine appropriate acupuncture treatment plans Perform acupuncture procedures using sterile techniques, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times Apply specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy to target specific areas of pain and muscle tension Manage acute pain conditions effectively through tailored acupuncture interventions and pain management strategies Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, and self-care practices to promote ongoing wellness Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and clinical observations in compliance with healthcare standards Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate acupuncture as part of holistic treatment approaches Requirements Valid license as a Certified Acupuncturist or Licensed Acupuncturist in accordance with state regulations Proven experience in acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and patient service delivery Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture practice Ability to perform precise physical examinations and assessments to identify patient needs effectively Familiarity with aseptic techniques to ensure safe treatment environments Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration Commitment to providing compassionate patient care while adhering to professional standards and ethical guidelines
