Acupuncture License Licensed Massage Therapist Full Job Description Experience:
- Specialized in pain management incorporating trigger point therapy, dry needling, electroacupuncture
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Ability to assess and manage acute/chronic pain conditions.
- Manual therapy experience is a plus (massage license, tuina, etc)
- Herbal medicine knowledge and ability to prescribe as needed is a plus
- Experience with charting for insurance is a plus
Duties:
- Perform acupuncture treatments on patients
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer trigger point therapy and other specialized techniques as needed.
- Provide patient education on acupuncture and holistic health practices including lifestyle and dietary guidance
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Available for outside events including corporate health fairs and brand activations
Requirements:
- At least 1+ year experience in an acupuncture position
- Proven track record of patient retention
- Valid NYS acupuncture license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- CANNOT be In-network with any insurance companies
