Part-Time Receptionist - Acupuncture Clinic Soulmei Wellness New York, NY Job Details Part-time From $20 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Mandarin Computer operation Clinic experience Attention to detail Clinical information systems Full Job Description Soulmei Wellness , a warm and patient-centered TCM/acupuncture clinic on the Upper East Side, is looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Part-Time Receptionist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and supporting a calm, healing environment.
Role Responsibilities:
Greeting patients and creating a welcoming atmosphere Answering business phone calls, texts, and emails Keeping the clinic and treatment rooms clean, organized, and prepared between patients Scheduling and confirming appointments using Acuity Scheduling software Verifying insurance benefits, collecting payments, and patient communication (training will be provided, prior experience not required) Maintaining a peaceful, professional front desk and clinic flow Assisting with daily clinic operations
Schedule:
Tuesday's, Wednesday's, Friday's, Saturday's (earliest start time is 8am, latest end time is 8pm; varies depending on bookings) - typically ranges 20-32 hours total per week Flexible scheduling discussed during interview
Compensation & Perks:
Starting wage $20/hour with room to grow professionally into an office manager role. Free acupuncture sessions!
Qualifications:
Warm, friendly, and professional demeanor Strong attention to detail and organization Comfortable with phones, scheduling systems, and basic computer tasks Willingness to help and support the clinic team Bonus Skills (not required): Experience in an acupuncture, medical, or wellness clinic Insurance verification experience Familiarity with booking or EMR systems Can speak, understand, read, or write Mandarin Chinese If you are dependable, caring, and enjoy working in a holistic healthcare environment, we'd love to hear from you.
