Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Acupuncture Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver expert acupuncture treatments aimed at alleviating pain, improving overall wellness, and supporting holistic health. Your expertise in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), anatomy, physiology, and modern healthcare diagnosis will enable you to provide comprehensive patient care. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans, ensuring each patient receives safe, effective, and compassionate care. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to determine appropriate acupuncture treatments Perform acupuncture procedures utilizing sterile techniques and precise needle placement to target areas such as trigger points and acute pain zones Apply complementary therapies such as herbal medicine techniques and trigger point therapy to enhance healing outcomes Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate acupuncture into broader pain management or treatment plans Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR/EHR management) documenting patient progress, treatment details, and clinical notes Educate patients on post-treatment care, lifestyle modifications, and self-care practices to support ongoing wellness Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during all procedures Qualifications 2+ years working as a licensed acupuncture therapist required Ability to work at minimum 16 hours per week including weekends or evenings as needed to accommodate client schedules Valid state licensure or certification as an acupuncture therapist with current CPR certification Proven experience in pain management, especially with acute pain cases and trigger point therapy Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and physical examinations relevant to acupuncture practice Excellent client communication skills with a focus on compassionate patient service and education Ability to perform detailed patient assessments and develop tailored treatment plans based on healthcare diagnosis Commitment to maintaining high standards of aseptic technique and safety during all procedures
