•Established Integrative Practice NOVA Acupuncture | Alexandria, Virginia Part-Time with Additional Hours Available | W-2 Employment | 50/50 Commission NOVA Acupuncture is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and patient-centered Licensed Acupuncturist to join our established practice in Alexandria, Virginia. Our clinic has built a strong community reputation through quality patient care, individualized treatment plans, and lasting patient relationships. We offer a welcoming, professional, spa-like environment with an established patient population, consistent referrals, and systems in place to support efficient clinical and administrative operations. We are looking for a practitioner who is confident in their clinical abilities, takes initiative, works well with others, and wants to build a successful, long-term practice within our clinic. What We Offer Established patient population and strong community reputation In-network participation with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare Veterans Affairs Community Care patient referrals Assistance with insurance credentialing through our practice Established electronic health record (EHR), scheduling, and insurance billing systems Front desk and administrative support during designated clinic hours Fully equipped treatment rooms and treatment supplies Collaborative environment with experienced practitioners Opportunities to develop specialized areas of clinical practice Our clinic treats a diverse patient population, including orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, chronic pain, women's health, fertility and IVF support, stress-related conditions, migraines, digestive disorders, and general wellness. We also offer cosmetic/facial acupuncture and microneedling services. Clinical and Administrative Responsibilities Our practitioners are responsible for managing their own patient care from initial assessment through treatment documentation and insurance claim submission. While NOVA Acupuncture has established systems and administrative support in place, practitioners are expected to take ownership of the clinical and administrative responsibilities associated with their patients.

Responsibilities include:

Provide safe, effective acupuncture treatments for a variety of conditions Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Educate patients on their conditions, treatment recommendations, and ongoing care Build strong therapeutic relationships that encourage appropriate follow-up and continuity of care Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation within our EHR system Submit insurance claims through our established billing system Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and administrative staff Manage patient flow independently when front desk support is unavailable, including Mondays Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked treatment rooms Participate in shared clinic responsibilities, including room turnover and laundry as needed Take initiative in developing and maintaining a patient schedule Our Team Environment At NOVA Acupuncture, we take pride in the positive, supportive, and collaborative environment we have built. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine Current Virginia acupuncture license NCBHAM (NCCAOM) certification Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage clinical documentation and insurance submissions accurately and efficiently Comfortable working independently and within a collaborative clinical environment Experience treating orthopedic conditions, pain management, or women's health is a plus Experience with microneedling and cosmetic/facial acupuncture is highly desirable Existing credentialing with BCBS, Aetna, or UnitedHealthcare is a plus, but not required Experienced practitioners and motivated newer graduates who demonstrate strong clinical skills and professional independence are welcome to apply.
