Role:
Docere Integrated Medicine PLLC is looking for a skilled and passionate Acupuncturist for an immediate opening to join our integrative healthcare team in Auburn, WA. This is an exciting opportunity to practice evidence-informed acupuncture in a collaborative, whole-person care environment where your expertise truly makes a difference in patients' lives.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient intake assessments, including health history reviews and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) evaluations Develop and implement individualized acupuncture treatment plans based on patient needs and goals Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needle techniques and adjunct therapies such as cupping, moxibustion, and gua sha Collaborate with physicians, naturopaths, and other integrative medicine practitioners to coordinate patient care Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and progress notes in compliance with clinic standards Educate patients on treatment protocols, lifestyle modifications, and wellness strategies Stay current with continuing education requirements and emerging research in acupuncture and integrative medicine
Requirements:
Master's degree or higher in Acupuncture or Oriental Medicine from an accredited institution Current Washington State Acupuncture license (or eligibility to obtain licensure) NCCAOM board certification preferred Experience with TCM diagnosis, acupuncture point selection, and adjunct modalities Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary integrative medicine team CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
