About our clinic, the root & the branch : We're a Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic tucked into the heart of Pacific Heights in San Francisco, and since 2010 we've been helping people with both common and complicated cases. Our team includes three other acupuncture providers and a front office person who keeps everything running smoothly. We're proud to offer compassionate, affirming care to LGBTQIA+ folks, BIPOC patients, single people growing their families, and anyone else whose story doesn't fit a standard mold. Who we're looking for to join our clinic: We're looking for someone with sharp diagnostic skills and a genuine interest in reproductive health, and/or orthopedics, & internal medicine. You'll partner with patients on their care, blending TCM with nutraceutical, dietary, and lifestyle guidance. We meet our patients where they are and help them build sustainable, lasting change.

The Details:

This is a part-time, employee position with weekday shifts of 4.5 hours each. Pay is $45 to $55 per patient, commensurate with experience, plus sick leave accrual in line with San Francisco's requirements. Mentorship is available if you'd like it, and we offer CEU financial support and professional development assistance to help you keep growing. Most of all, you'll be working in a warm, calm environment where good medicine comes first. Requirements:

• Valid California Acupuncture License
• Personal liability Insurance
• A knack for building rapport with patients and retention of them
• Strong herbal foundation
• Interest and proficiency in treating women's health and/or orthopedics and internal medicine
• Gentle and effective needling style
• The drive to keep pace without losing your calm, mindful presence
• Respect for our medicine and a deep desire to help others
• Ability to blend your clinical expertise with our clinic's protocols and rhythm, for consistency and continuity of care
• Honesty and strong ethics

Preferred Qualifications & Attributes:

• 2 to 5+ years of clinical practice
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• An interest in making our clinic your practice home
