Purpose Statement/Position Summary:
- This position supports the clinical operations of our Anesthesia providers.
Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and also delivering high quality patient care. Works cooperatively with the Lead Anesthesia Technologist/Technician to provide support for anesthesiologists and anesthesia providers caring for patients during surgical procedures and non-surgical sedations at CHLA. Provides care based on the age and developmental needs of the patient. Demonstrates commitment to the CHLA family centered model of care. Employee will follow applicable policies and procedures in handling supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:
- 2+ years as a Certified Anesthesia Technician with emphasis on clinical procedures or a graduate of an ASATT approved program. Completion of required clinical components.
Education/Licensure/Certification:
- Graduate of an ASATT approved program and a High School degree or
GED. ASATT
Certification Required:
Obtains and maintains certification as Anesthesia Technologist or Anesthesia Technician from the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologist within 1 year of hire. Maintains competence and professional development. Maintains certification as required.

- $61,152.00-$100,464.00

Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
