Job Description

Overview The Anesthesia Technician is responsible for maintaining anesthesia equipment, setting up anesthesia locations, and assisting anesthesia providers as requested. Other responsibilities include ordering and stocking supplies, troubleshooting and monitoring equipment, and assisting with transfer of patients. #
ACDP Qualifications Age of Patients Served:
All Age Groups.
Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Necessary Skills:
1. Knowledge of anesthesia machines and accessory equipment. 2. Knowledge of ordering and maintaining inventory with special eye toward fiscal responsibility. 3. Must have basic patient care associate knowledge, appropriate to all age groups. 4. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
Required Licensure/Certifications:

BLS Required Experience:
Less than one year - Anesthesia Technician experience.
Preferred Experience:
1-2 years anesthesia technician experience with at least community hospital institution helpful.
