Assists anesthesiologists in the administration of anesthesia for surgical and non-surgical procedures. Monitors patient status and provide patient care during surgical treatment.Responsibilities :
- Insures a complete setup for anesthesia services in all anesthetizing locations.
- Cleans, disinfects, sterilizes all anesthesia equipment.
- Assists anesthesia personnel with preparation/placement of IV fluids, regional anesthesia techniques, physiologic monitoring, airway equipment, and anesthesia machine set up/troubleshooting
- Assists with transport of monitored patients.
- Seeks opportunities for professional growth and development.
- Maintains a safe environment complying with NLH policies and procedures; reports and directly addresses environmental hazards and violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed.
- May perform other duties upon request.
