Job Summary:
The Anesthesia Associate Technician supports Anesthesia Specialists and higher-level technicians in all areas where general anesthesia is administered. Responsibilities include the cleaning, setup, turnover, maintenance, and troubleshooting of anesthesia machines and physiological monitoring equipment. This role provides technical support during patient care by assisting with airway management, placement of invasive lines, and urgent or emergency procedures. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with physicians, nurses, anesthesia providers, and other members of the healthcare team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering safe, high-quality patient care.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree or higher in a health-related field (other degrees with relevant coursework considered) or equivalent combination of education and experience Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in an operating room environment. Knowledge of operating room protocols and aseptic technique. Previous Anesthesia Technician or Anesthesia Technologist experience strongly preferred. EMT or Advanced EMT candidates may be considered.
Work Days:
