Responsibilities:
Exercise discretion and independent judgment in regards to the following: Direct and facilitate clinical practitioner onboarding process Evaluate prospective practitioner credentials for placement suitability at hospital client within reasonable timeframes Identify issues with clinical practitioners or clients and communicate any issues timely to the team Recommend action in regards to clinical practitioner onboarding Work with Medical Staff Administration Specialist, who is assigned to respective facilities, as needed, to arrange primary and/or supervising collaboration with medical and/or Nursing boards Anticipate and remedy potential delays in clinical practitioner onboarding Promote and enforce data integrity.
Work with MSL Leads to:
Increase standardization across department. Improve and adhere to processes. Provide feedback on systems. Maintain accurate database information Believe that file quality is essential to becoming Best in Class and put effort in your work that this belief shows in each file submitted to a hospital client. Develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles Determine appropriate course of conduct to achieve successful outcomes Initiate and coordinate Risk Review Process Communicate frequently with internal and external customers Act as liaison between Company, clinical practitioner, and Client Provide consistent and thorough updates to clinical practitioner, regional team, and Client Manage and update clinical practitioner expirables Facilitate reappointment process
Secure Provider Enrollment Packet Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Able to interpret and apply Company and Client policies, bylaws, rules and regulations Ability to shift priorities to meet changing business needs Planning and prioritizing credentialing activities Understand and apply federal, state, and regulatory agency requirements Ability to handle fast-paced, high-stress environment Critical and strategic thinking Strong analytical skills Strong organization skills High attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills Highly effective written and oral communication Sound judgment and decision-making Prioritization Basic medical terminology MS Office
EDUCATION
(Required and/or Preferred): High School or equivalent Bachelor's in Business, Healthcare, or related field preferred
FIELD OF STUDY
Business or healthcare
WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 1 year credentialing or related experience Minimum of 2 years experience in a medical office setting
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
CPCS/CPMSM Preferred
PRIMARY LOCATION
SCP office in Lafayette, LA; Traverse City, MI; or Atlanta, GA If outside of an office radius listed above, will consider remote candidates.
Pay Range:
20.00 - 28.00 USD per hour This range represents the anticipated base salary for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
