This role is crucial to the safe and efficient delivery of anesthesia services across various dental office settings. This is a travel-based position, requiring reliable transportation and the ability to work in diverse clinical environments. Key Responsibilities Verify all necessary anesthesia equipment, supplies, and medications are present, functional, and organized. Assist the anesthesiologist with the setup, and configuration of all monitoring and delivery equipment. Assist the anesthesiologist in preparing the patient for procedures, including applying monitoring devices (e.g., EKG leads, pulse oximetry, blood pressure cuff) Assist the anesthesiologist as directed, which may include retrieving supplies, adjusting IV fluids, and documenting basic patient parameters. Assist with the safe transfer of the patient to recovery. Giving post operative instructions Manage the efficient and organized breakdown and packing of all anesthesia equipment. Ensure all reusable equipment is properly cleaned, sanitized, and prepared for the next case in accordance with established infection control protocols. QualificationsRequired Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and function effectively in high-stress clinical situations. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to multiple dental office locations.

Preferred Paramedic Certification/Training:

Strong preference for candidates with active or recent Paramedic certification and field experience. Consideration will be given to candidates with current EMT/Basic Medic certification and extensive clinical experience. Previous experience in a mobile or non-traditional clinical setting. Strong understanding of anesthesia equipment and monitoring principles.

Varies based on case load, typically requiring flexibility for early morning starts and full-day commitments.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications, plus mileage reimbursement for travel.
